Growing eCommerce

eCommerce is a growing opportunity, with growing responsibilities. The growth of eCommerce has dwarfed the most optimistic projections of a few years ago. In the last quarter of 2005, U.S. online sales alone soared to $26.5 billion, a 23.4 percent increase over the same period a year ago, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The annual online purchases in the U.S. during 2005 reached a staggering $86.3 billion- and the future looks even brighter for e-tailers. According to Cambridge, Mass. research firm Forrester, e-commerce in the U.S. will skyrocket to $329 billion by 2010.

So, it is easy to see why so many brick-and-mortar companies are investing millions into building an online presence, and why so many new and established pure-play e-tailers are doing the same. The online gold rush is continuing to gain momentum, with billions of new ecommerce sites are being launched annually.

How can an you establish credibility? The universal eTailer Code of Ethics & Conduct is the solution, and Bizcheck was founded in order to help companies adhere to its principals and to help guide consumers to these companies.
